ABOUT

Edit. Color. Whiskey Neat.

Neat Edit opened in 2016 with two goals: provide a memorable and service-focused post production experience, and work in great company. As a boutique shop and member of AICP, we take pride in providing hands-on attention to every project through the entire post pipeline, and maintain a nimble approach to scale the demands in the evolving landscape of new age media.

We are named after our founders’ bond over sharing a glass of whiskey, and like to bring that same experience and camaraderie to our clients at what we know can be a stressful stage of every project. Let us tell you more at one of our whiskey tastings! Set up a time for your team to join us by contacting our client services coordinator, Bryn, at client.services@neatedit.com.

WHO WE ARE

Courtney DeLaVega

Managing Partner / Executive Producer

Prior to opening Neat Edit in 2016, Courtney worked on the agency side of advertising, most recently at Saatchi & Saatchi LA. That experience brought her attention to an industry shift in post production and highlighted an opportunity to bring the unique, high-end and client-focused post experience found in commercial post houses to the rapidly growing content and social industries. With that as her mission, Courtney spends her days overseeing operations of Neat Edit and ensuring an experience that is equally comfortable as it is creative for all of Neat Edit’s clients. Pop into her office, conveniently housing Neat’s whiskey collection of 50+ bottles, and chat over a Teeling Single Malt neat.

Freddie DeLaVega

Lead Editor

Freddie has earned a lot of nicknames from clients over the years; Freddie The Fixer, Freddie The Machine and the list goes on. All of these affectionate nicknames speak to his valued ability to bring a client’s vision to life perfectly, quickly and seemingly effortlessly with a smile on his face. As a member of the Motion Picture Editors Guild, Freddie has enjoyed creativity across all genres of media, working with brands such as Diesel, LeBron James' UNINTERRUPTED, and cutting the Emmy Award Winning comedy series “Dropping The Soap”.  Take a seat on the distressed leather couch in his edit bay and chat about drag racing, surfing and decision science over a glass of Blanton’s neat.

Bryn Ladner

Client Services

She’s the first face you see, and probably the first person to make you laugh when you enter Neat Edit. Bryn is originally from Sharon, PA, and recently graduated from The Ohio State University. When she isn’t assisting Neat’s clients, she’s perfecting her own editorial skills to someday cut the next breakout horror flick.
